The original compositions of the Polish dark-folk band revive the wild roars of the old times.
Daj Ognia's work evokes the atmosphere of a non-existent Polish village and refers to the old myth of the freezing Baltic Sea. They draw inspiration from Polish and Scandinavian musical traditions - playing at barn dances, funeral feasts and sacred groves. Accompanied by archaic instruments typical of these regions, the band theatrically interweaves melodies of melancholic longing with frenetic, trance-like dance music.
